Friday Faves | December 4, 2020

Good morning everyone! I hope you all have had a great week. It has been nice to have a slow one after all of our Thanksgiving festivities. Even though we kept it very small this year, there was plenty of cooking to do and cleaning. We spent the week getting back into our routines and finishing our leftovers. Pie for breakfast? Yes please.

This is my first edition of my friday faves where I share random tidbits throughout the week. It can range from a newly discovered hiking trail, a new dish from a local restaurant, or a new beauty find. I hope you enjoy!

Holiday Lights

We have enjoyed going for walks around the neighborhood looking at all the holiday lights. We feel very lucky to live in an area where people decorate for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and all of the holidays in December. Our favorite has to be this house with The Child.

Beautycounter Pick-of-the-Week

I purchased the Luminous Lids Cream Shadow set during the Cyber Monday sale and I cannot wait to get my hands on them. Not only are the shades so pretty but the formula is talc-free as well! I already have a cream shadow from the Winter Warmth Duo (out of stock). I love the easy application and how you can gradually build up the color. These would make a great gift to yourself as well as splitting up for stocking stuffers.

Trail of the Week

Last week we went on the Valley View Trail in Saguaro National Park. We were looking for a trailhead where Emilia could easily walk. This trail is a 0.8 mile out-and-back trail with a gorgeous view of the Saguaro forest at the top. The trail is packed dirt with some built-in stone steps. It was exactly what we were looking for and a nice break from all the Thanksgiving festivities.

I hope you all have a great weekend!
