One of our favorite places for breakfast is The Garden Bistro at Tohono Chul. My friend and local blogger, Jane, introduced me to this place when she hosted a lovely brunch. The food is delicious, the ambiance is serene and inviting, and the grounds are beautiful. After our ladies brunch, I knew I had to take Chris!

Our dining group ordered the omelette, chicken and waffles, Beyond the Border Benedict, and the kid’s waffle and fruit. Everyone was satisfied with the food they ordered. While the portions were big, each dish was made with quality ingredients and attention to detail. I was impressed with the kid’s waffle along with the crispy breakfast potatoes with onion. My friend let me try his chicken and waffle and I absolutely loved the combination of the green chile waffle, chicken, and chiltepin-mesquite honey.

We were lucky to discover admission was free to Tohono Chul due to their annual pant sale. We walked along the trails and enjoyed the flora and fauna. We visited the kids garden with a water feature and trucks to play with in the sand, a streamside garden, succulent garden, and riptarian garden. There’s a lot more to discover but nap time called and it also started to rain. We’re looking forward to coming back, Tohono Chul!

I love that place, the food is great, and the gardens beautiful! Thanks for sharing
